Abstract:
The present status and future goals of collider physics are briefly overviewed with a particular emphasis on Higgs physics. Projections for the HL-LHC and for future colliders are studied in the context of the exploration of the detected Higgs signal and of searches for additional Higgs states.
The implications of the results are discussed in view of the ongoing update of the European strategy for particle physics.
