Fabrizio Caola - Constraining the Higgs width at the LHC
Talk in the course of the seminar series of the RTG 2044
The Higgs boson is a very narrow resonance, and measuring its total width is challenging at hadron colliders.
Nevertheless, different ways of constraining it from indirect measurements have been proposed, which would allow to probe values of the Higgs width as small as the standard model prediction.
In this talk I will review them, discussing their potential and limitations, as well as the challenges these measurement pose.
